Hyundai Creta E Joins the Company Line-up

In India, the all-new Creta compete with the Mahindra XUV500, Nissan Kicks, Tata Harrier, MG Hector, and Kia Seltos in the mid-size SUV segment.

In March 2020, Hyundai launched the second-gen Creta in India at an introductory price tag of US$ 13457.27 (ex-showroom). Now, the all-new Creta has received a new petrol-only base variant, named the Creta E, which was previously only available in diesel variant. The E trim is now available in the petrol range, which is priced at US$ 13379.20 (Rs 9.82 lakh). However, with the addition of the E trim, the prices of both petrol and diesel units have also been increased. With the introduction of the new petrol-only E variant, the starting price of the petrol offering has dropped by US$ 231.62 (Rs 17,000).

The all-new Creta is now available in five different trims, such as SX (O), SX, S, EX, and E. The second-generation Creta shares its underpinnings with the all-new Kia Seltos. Hyundai offers three powertrain options; a 1.5-liter naturally-aspirated petrol engine that delivers 115 hp of power and is paired with a six-speed manual or a CVT automatic gearbox, a 1.5-liter turbocharged diesel unit that churns out 115 hp of power and is paired with a six-speed manual or torque converter automatic gearbox, and a 1.4-liter turbo-petrol engine, paired with a seven-speed dual-clutch automatic gearbox.

In India, the all-new Creta compete with the Mahindra XUV500, Nissan Kicks, Tata Harrier, MG Hector, and Kia Seltos in the mid-size SUV segment. The top variant of the Creta features LED taillights, LED headlights, a Bose audio system, a 7.0-inch digital instrument cluster, a 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system, and electronic parking brake upholstery. Moreover, the Creta is available in ten color options, such as black, gray, orange, red, blue, silver, white, and three exclusive color options, such as dark green (Deep Forest), orange with a black roof, and white with a black roof.
