At CES 2021, Sony declared a new high quality video streaming service referred to as Bravia Core. The stream technology can enable customers to stream videos at prime quality up to 80 Mbps.
This year Sony can bring a singular feature to their newly-revealed premium 'Bravia XR' 4k and 8K TVs. This new XR TV sets can enable users to stream movies at a better quality compared to the standard offered by 4K Blu-ray. This service will be provided via Sony’s new streaming platform, called Bravia Core. It will be exclusively available to Sony’s new TV users. Those premium TVs will come up with pre-installation of Bravia Core options as well as the Master Series Z9J 8K LED and Master Series A90J at the side of 4K LED models just like the X90J and X80J.
