The twin turbo-hybrid, Toyota Tundra, a full size pickup truck is set to go on sale as a 2022 model later this year.
The new 2022 Toyota Tundra comes from a line of trucks and SUVs that are known for quality, reliability and durability. Toyota is investing in building hybrid power vehicles, just as the new 2022 Toyota Tundra. The new Tundra relies on a fully boxed design that has substantially improved durability and off-road potential. It has bundle of other tech upgrades, including a strong driver-assistance package, a new 14 in. infotainment system and an updated suspension with adaptive damping.
The new Tundra’s front is stretched below the headlamps which highlights it with a thick, heavy metal surrounding. The front of the new Tundra is designed in a way to improve its straight-line stability and high-speed driving. The roll height is increased from 4 to 6 inches to decrease the body roll. There are adaptive dampers and rear air suspension on some grades. The upgrades in the new Tundra gives it maximum towing capacity of 12,000 pounds and a maximum payload volume of 1,940 pounds. The vehicle has two different powerplant arrangements, the twin-turbo 3.5-liter V6 engine produces up to 389 horsepower and 479 lb-ft. of torques. After combining it with i-FORCE MAX, a skilfully developed bell-housing motor system, the Tundra gives output of 437 horsepower and a 583 lb-ft. of torque. The 2022 Tundra comes in two four-door options, Double Cab and larger CrewMax.
The 2022 Toyota Tundra will be competing with well-known automakers Ford F-150 and Chevrolet Silverado 1500 in the market. The pricings of the 2022 Toyota Tundra are not yet announced but the automaker claims that it will go on sale late in this year.
