Virgin Galactic, a spaceflight company is developing high-speed mobility in collaboration with the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA). On May 5, 2020, Virgin Galactic announced a new partnership with NASA, signed a Space Act Agreement to accelerate the development of high-speed technologies. The company is developing high-speed vehicles for commercial aviation. Virgin Galactic collaborated with NASA to drive the United States’ efforts to build technically feasible, high-tech vehicles for potential civilian applications. Now, the company has revealed the cabin interior design of its SpaceshipTwo vehicles that will allow space enthusiasts and astronauts to explore the edge of space.
The cabin is fitted with around 12 windows placed on the roof section and upper side of the spacecraft, through which space enthusiasts and astronauts will observe the surface of the Earth. Passengers will be buckled into specially designed seats during launch and landing. Moreover, each seat is tailored with a digital display that feeds the customer data throughout the flight, as well as connects them to the pilots of the spacecraft.
